You may have been to Sydney before but we feel sure you won't have seen Sydney the way we see it on our 3 day, 2 night Hidden Sydney Harbour Walking Weekend!

This unique mini holiday includes guided walking along the many facets of this beautiful waterway including bushy, beachy, suburban, and post industrial environments. Also included is 2 nights accommodation in a deluxe twin or Queen room at the Rydges Australia Square Hotel, 2 buffet breakfasts, 2 (really good) pub lunches, entry to the Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon Lookout and Museum, and a fun goodie bag.

You will have free time in the evenings to catch a show, dine at a city restaurant, wander through city precincts like The Rocks or Barangaroo, or just relax watching movies in your room!

Maximum group size is 12. Walks are approximately 9 km on the first day, 13 km on the second day and 10 km on the third day and are graded as easy (some short sets of stairs and occasional short hills).

Prices are $700 per person twin share (2 people sharing a room with either 1 or 2 beds depending on preference) or $1000 per person for your own room. If you are a "Sydneysider" - you can still come along to the walks and lunches! The cost is $350 for the 3 guided walks, 2 lunches, entry to the Harbour Bridge Pylon Lookout and a goodie bag.

Itinerary:

Friday

1.00 PM Meet at the lobby of the Rydges Australia Square Hotel, Pitt Street, Sydney. The hotel is very close to Wynyard station. Your room may not be ready at 1.00 PM but the reception staff will be happy to store your luggage until we return. We'll say hello to the rest of the group and head off on foot to Circular Quay to catch a ferry across the harbour to the start of our first walk. This walk is the shortest of the three walks for the weekend, at about 9 km long. It is flat for most of the way, apart from one hill and a couple of sets of stairs. This is a walk known only really to locals, passing quaint houses, beautiful gardens, deep inlets, "hidden" beaches and fantastic views back towards the city almost the whole way. At about 5.00 pm we'll catch a ferry back to Circular Quay, in time for you to get ready for a night on the town, perhaps?!

Saturday

8.30 AM After breakfast, meet in the lobby of the hotel and we'll head back to Circular Quay to start our second walk! Today, we pass through a huge variety of places, from pretty beaches, to national park, historical military defence posts, groves of astonishing Moreton Bay Fig trees and we walk through the wealthiest suburbs in Sydney, getting a good look into some amazing real estate! If we are lucky we might see seals and whales, depending on the time of year and how long you're willing to stop and look! This is a fantastic walk, very popular with instagrammers! Today's walk is the longest, at about 13 km. We'll have lunch at Doyles Garden Bar or the Watsons Bay Hotel. It's then time to catch the ferry back to the city for a well earned rest. You have free time in the city for the afternoon and evening. Perhaps you'd like to catch a live show or have dinner at a fancy restaurant? Or just drinks and tapas at the Opera Bar!

Sunday

8.30 AM After breakfast, we meet again for our final walk. Today's walk starts from a remarkably quiet and busy suburb on the north side of the harbour. We wind our way on foot all the way to back to the city, on the way exploring a beautiful natural headland, passing former industrial areas, now dedicated to sustainability, whimsical gardens, iconic fairgrounds and let's not forget to mention that there are views almost 100% of the way today! We'll have lunch at a great pub, then continue our walk right over the Harbour Bridge, admiring this amazing structure and the fantastic views. If you would like to, we will visit the Harbour Bridge South Pylon Lookout and Museum (included in the package for the weekend, but not everyone wants to walk up the steps)! This viewing area gives a 360 degree view over Sydney, and is an epic way to bring our weekend to a close. We finish off at the hotel where you can collect your luggage, or if you'd like to book an extra night at the hotel, we can arrange that for you when you first book.

Please note, for this weekend, you will need to "tap on and off" with your own debit/credit or Opal card to legally ride the ferries and one train. The total cost for all journeys will total to no more than $40. Tapping on and off yourself is the most economical way for us to run this weekend, saving you money in the long run! The ferries and train are also the most scenic ways to get to our walks.
